Club Rules

1. All dogs must be immunised against hepatitis, distemper, and parvovirus. A current vaccination certificate to that effect must be sighted by the club.

2. No bitches in season are allowed on the grounds at any time.

3. Dogs must be physically capable in the opinion of an instructor to take part in a class.

4. Choke (check) chains, prong or electronic collars are NOT allowed at any time.

5. All dogs must be on a lead at all times unless under the specific instruction of an instructor.

6. All handlers to ensure that their dogs are under control when socialising with other dogs.

7. Dogs to be tied up or staked out using flat collars (not tied to trees). Stakes should be flagged. Tie-up points must be at a suitable distance from other dogs. Dogs must not be tied up adjacent to pathways.

8. Name badges must be worn during training sessions.

9. In agility classes flat collars only to be used.

10. No dog is to use any piece of equipment unless under the guidance of an instructor.

11. Handlers whose dogs foul the ground or urinate on equipment must immediately clean up after them.

12. All members are asked to help with setting up and returning of equipment to storage container. Dogs are not allowed in the storage container at any time.

13. Dogs are not allowed in the passageway in front of the canteen.

14. Training times are as posted.

15. Age limits for dog training: (a). Young puppies up to four months should not attend training on these grounds, but attend a suitable "puppy school", ask secretary for further information. (b). Four to twelve months, general pet obedience and pre-starters agility, ground obstacles only. (c) Minimum age for agility training is twelve months.
